David I. Chambers hails from the vibrant Coconut Grove neighborhood of Miami, Florida. As a writer-director, he masterfully uses film to weave together stories of personal triumph and highlight overlooked events, forging connections among diverse audiences.
Despite his extensive training as a marimbist and percussionist, David's enduring passion for cinema led him to pursue an MFA in film from the prestigious Florida State University College of Motion Picture Arts. His time in Tallahassee, both as a music student at Florida A&M University and as an MFA candidate, equipped him with the skills necessary for a lifelong dedication to storytelling.
David's journey has been filled with diverse and exciting projects, spanning various roles across every department in the film industry. His adventures have taken him across the country, where he has met fascinating people and embraced new experiences.
